How to care for your bikini tops so they last longer

Always rinse your top in cold water immediately after use in chlorine or salt water. This removes residue that would otherwise break down the colour and elasticity over time, and significantly extends the life of your swimwear tops.

Avoid direct contact with tanning oil and sun cream, as these can cause discolouration in the fabric. Wash your top by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in a laundry bag with a mild detergent, and never use bleach, as it attacks both the colour and the fibres.

Lay the top flat in the shade to dry after washing. A tumble dryer is unsuitable, as the heat damages the stretch fibres and shortens the garment's lifespan. And don't store it folded near sharp edges or clasps, which can pull and distort the fabric.
