Delivery and Returns
Delivery
When your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your package from our warehouse to your address.
If you have ordered both in-stock items and pre-order items in the same order, the order will be shipped together when the pre-order is in stock.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery times from external shipping companies.
Uncollected packages.
If your package is not picked up and returned to us, the shipping costs will be deducted from your refund as we are subject to return fees.

Before completing your order, you will be presented with different delivery options, including estimated prices, delivery times, and expected delivery dates, depending on your delivery address.
Please note : Orders outside the EU may be subject to customs and VAT charges upon arrival at the destination. We recommend that you contact your local customs authorities for further information.

Important about delivery

DAO's liability: DAO is liable for damages as long as the package is in their custody. Once the package is delivered to your door, liability ceases and you bear the risk of any damage or loss.

Customs and fees: When shipping to Iceland, the USA, Australia and Canada, customs, VAT and other fees may apply and are not included in the price. These costs are not refundable when returning your order. Remember to mark your return package as "return package" to avoid additional fees.

Return policy (Danish orders)
You have 14 days to return your item from the day your item arrives at the parcel shop. Unfortunately, returns received after this period cannot be approved.
We aim to process returns within 10 working days of receipt. Refunds may take 2-3 banking days .

If you choose another shipping option, we recommend sending the package with a tracking number for your security. We do not collect packages from parcel shops or post offices.
The shipping costs to have your order delivered will only be refunded if the entire order is returned. Return costs are covered by the customer.
We will not send a confirmation of your return, but you can follow the process via your tracking number.
When returning, you must enclose a return slip with your name and order number so that we can identify your order.
We cannot accept your return package if:

The 14-day return period has expired.

The item is not properly packaged.

The item has been exposed to perfume, makeup or smoke odors.

Hangtags or labels have been removed or damaged.
Exchange (Danish orders)
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original order for a refund and then place a new order. However, webshop orders can be exchanged in our physical store in Copenhagen .
Received a defective item?
If you have received a defective item, please contact us before returning it. Returns without prior contact cannot be accepted.
Once we have processed your return, you will receive a confirmation email. The refund may take up to 10 business days.
Return policy (foreign orders)
Unfortunately, we do not offer return labels for orders outside Denmark. You must therefore arrange the return yourself via a shipping company of your choice (e.g. via a post office or similar). The return costs are covered by you, including any customs and VAT fees for returns outside the EU.
We recommend that you send the package with a tracking number and directly to our address, as we do not pick up packages from parcel shops or post offices.

When returning, your name and order number must be clearly visible on the package. Refunds may take up to 10 business days after receipt.
You have a 14-day right of return from the day you receive your item in a parcel shop or at your address.

You are responsible for ensuring that the return package reaches us. We always recommend sending the package with a tracking number.

The package must be sent directly to our return address - we do not collect packages from post offices or parcel shops.
Customs, VAT and fees outside the EU
Any customs duties and fees paid will not be refunded upon return.

Once we have received your return, you will receive a confirmation email. The refund may take up to 10 business days.
Exchange (Foreign orders)
We do not offer direct exchanges of items. If you would like a different item, please:

Return your original order.

Place a new order for the desired item.
Exception :
You can exchange your webshop order in our physical store in Copenhagen.
We cannot accept your return if:

The item is not packaged properly.

The item has traces of perfume, makeup or smoke odor.

Hangtags or labels have been removed or damaged.
Pre-order
If you choose to place a pre-order , this will be clearly stated in the product title and confirmed in your order confirmation.
Important information about pre-orders:

In the product description you will find information about the expected delivery time, which indicates how many days it may take before the item is shipped.

If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-orders, the entire order will only be shipped when the pre-order is ready for delivery .
Payment by pre-order
If the waiting time for your pre-order is more than 7 days , the payment will be deducted from your account before shipping . This is because we cannot reserve funds for a longer period of time. If the payment cannot be completed, the order will be canceled.
Changes in delivery time
Note:
The stated delivery time is an estimate and is subject to change. Any changes in expected delivery time will always be updated on the product page.
Right of complaint
We provide a 2-year warranty under the Danish Sales Act, which covers defects in material or manufacturing.
The complaint must be notified within a reasonable time (max. 1 month) after you have discovered the error.
We cover return costs for approved complaints and send a return label after contacting us.
If the product has been used in an inappropriate manner or in violation of the general instructions for use, the right to a warranty claim will lapse.
